What can you do with BISON?
Staking
A portion of all fees paid on the BiShares platform are sent to the “staking reward pool”. Users can earn a proportional share of this rewards pool by staking their BISON.
Supply
BISON Distribution
There will be a total of 1,000,000 BISON created, issued and distributed.
The BISON token will be distributed in the following areas:
Community
45% of BISON emissions will be farmed by liquidity providers over the next 2-years.
IDO
20% of BISON was allocated to the ApeSwap IAO (IDO).
Treasury
18% of BISON will be distributed via emissions and will be farmed by liquidity providers over the next 2-years.
Founders
15% of BISON have been allocated to the founding team members.
Advisors
2% of BISON have been allocated to the advisory team.
Utility
BiShares Governance
The BiShares DAO will be set up where the community can come to a consensus on anything the community needs consensus about. Period. The smart contracts will be deployed and 10% of the $BISON total token supply will be required to initiate the proposal and 60% quorum is needed to pass the proposed vote within a 72-hour period.

How Staking Works
Deposit
Stake your BISON by depositing your tokens in the BISON Pool located in the BiShares farm.
Earn
Collect a portion of all fees generated from the BiShares platform based on your stake percentage of the pool.
Redeem
Harvest your BISON, re-stake, or sell your staking award on the open market.
Staking Rewards
Stake BISON to earn more BISON via the BISON pool. Receive a share of the allocated BISON emissions in proportion to your stake in the pool.
All platform fees are collected in the BiShares treasury from every mint, burn, and ArbEx trade. A portion of all platform fees are then redistributed to the community via the staking contract. Receive an airdrop reward of BUSD directly to your wallet once a month in proportion to your staked amount in the BISON Pool.
